About Oxford
As you can probably tell I am no native from Oxford. I came to live in this wonderful town in my early 20's to be a student of one of their famous colleges.
I liked it so much I decided to make Oxford my home. I found the cosmopolitan atmosphere fascinating. So many come to Oxfordshire as contributors to its educational network and many just like me simply fall in love with it.
It's legendary buildings have also attracted movie makers for quite some time being the most famous - Harry Potter. Children from all over the world can only dream to come to Oxford and sit at the student's dining room pretending to be part of Hogwarths magical school!
Oxford has great access to Heathrow airport, Central London as well as pretty places around the Cotswolds. It's town centre is a little tricky to drive through so I would recommend taking accommodation on one of the many hotels currently in the suburbs of Oxford.
My favourite hotels in Oxford are:
- The Crazy Bear
Simply romantic. I adore the restaurant so would welcome a longer date if you are staying there. I promise you that we will have a great time specially if you choose one of the suites with a bath in the room - very naughty!
- The Barcelo
It may not be the most romantic of hotels but it' easy to get to and has plenty of parking. Prices are very accessible too.
- Randolph Hotel & Spa
Well located. Restaurant is good and if you are up for a few drinks, we can walk to town from there. Rooms could do with a facelift - sometimes I feel like I am having sex in my grandmas' living room!
